RIP and Wrinkle’ is about time and process. Like Rip Van Winkle, I find myself waking from a 20-year sleep but in my case this is a parental sleep that, now my child has flown the nest as it were, leaves the wrinkles and lines of time. This work is cut from an image of Samuel Beckett removing all but his lines and wrinkles.
