Books are not really solid objects at all – we read our way through them. Of course some are much harder to get through than others but whatever the book, it will undoubtedly have a transforming affect on the reader. With one figure assisted by another this piece appears to pay homage to scholastic pursuits and to the teacher/student relationship. However, this book cannot be read as it is bound with fine threads of golden hair.
