This is a drawing I started when I was 12 years old. It’s the second version of an earlier attempt, each of which took me a year to complete. It was copied from from the image on a puzzle, a painting by Claud Deruet painted around 1620/30. Look carefully and you will also see Leonardo da Vinci’s five grotesque heads.
